The Porterbrook is proud to provide a chauffeur-driven car, which residents can book this service to get to their desired destination without any hassle. Residents can spend the day catching up with those closest to them visiting the many attractions, shops or eateries that Sheffield provides.

Residential care is an appropriate type of care for those who need little assistance with their day-to-day tasks or personal care but are able to be independent for the majority of the time. Residents who reside at our residential home can have an excellent social life, and experience delicious meals on a daily basis.
We work closely with residents and those closest to them to discover the care needs of a resident, as well as their interests and abilities in order to tailor a personalised care plan. As residents’ needs may vary over time, we will reassess their method of care to meet this, a decipher whether a different type of care is more appropriate.
We offer outstanding dementia care at our residence, ensuring every resident living with dementia is comfortable in their environment and has everything they could ever need from us. Our aim is to guide our residents while keeping an element of independence where possible. Our staff has had an extensive amount of dementia care training and is dedicated to providing the best person-centred care possible.
We ensure that the daily care we provide is tailored to the needs of each resident living with dementia, as well as taking into account the wishes of their friends and family members. The Porterbrook provides dementia-friendly activities so that people living with the condition can be engaged with a variety of fun activities each day.
Whether you’re currently providing full-time care for a loved one or looking for a place to recover following an illness or injury, respite care will be the best option for you. You can fully unwind at our home, knowing that you will be looked after by our professional care team.
Respite care can also be used to stay at a care home temporarily, giving someone the opportunity to decide if a care home is the right fit for them. As each person receiving respite care has differing needs, a customised care plan will always be created for every individual.
