Whether you care for a loved one or need a break yourself, we know that sometimes everyone needs a little time out. At The Porterbrook you can truly relax in knowing that a safe, welcoming environment awaits. Respite care is also ideal for those looking for convalescence, either after an illness, or perhaps following a hospital stay.

We are also able to arrange trial stays with us for respite care, a minimum 3 week length of stay applies, which provides the chance for someone to see if The Porterbrook is the right choice. We are happy to work our respite care around your life and care plan. We have invested heavily in both our team training and access to equipment in order to provide first-class standards of healthcare. Our skilled and dedicated team are loyal, caring and share the same values that we do. We will do all that we can to make you or your loved one feel comfortable settling in, and to feel safe and at home with us.
