Featuring 44 modern en-suite bedrooms, our luxury care facility delivers high-quality Residential, Dementia and Respite care for older people 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Not only do we provide an outstanding care service, but our home also offers an array of amenities for residents to use whenever suits them. On-site amenities include a cinema room, private outdoor areas, a hair salon & treatment room, and a library.

Life At The Porterbrook Care Home

Our dedicated Activities Coordinators are thrilled to provide a varied activities programme every week for our residents. There is always some exciting to be a part of and if residents choose to opt-out, that’s completely fine too.

Activities that residents have done in the past include creating sculptures, decorating the home for special occasions, indulging in pamper days as well as watching entertainment from performing musicians and professional dancers. Our team works tirelessly to ensure that the activities and workshops that take place in our care home are catered to the interests of our residents, and we will happily take new suggestions on board.

The Porterbrook offers a chauffeur-driven Mercedes service, so residents are able to get to their desired destination without any stress and at no extra cost. Respite Care

If you’re caring for a loved one or need some time to recover from an illness or injury, we are here to take the daily stresses away from you. You can fully relax at The Porterbrook, knowing that you will be in safe hands and all needs will be taken care of by our professional team. Respite care can last from a few weeks to a few months, depending on the individual’s circumstances. It can also be planned in advance or used on an emergency basis.

Respite care can also be used to trial a care home which gives you the opportunity to decide if The Porterbrook will be your next residence.
